Motorsports Parts Warranty

WHAT IS COVERED:

INFINITI warrants to correct defects in INFINITI Motorsports parts distributed by Nissan North America, Inc. in the United States, including NISMO and NISMO Off Road branded parts, and service parts for Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) vehicles. This limited warranty covers any repairs needed to correct defects in materials or workmanship.

HOW LONG IS THE WARRANTY:

Limited warranty coverage is for 12 months or 12,000 miles from the date of installation or purchase, whichever is earlier. However, the limited warranty on Motorsports parts installed during the INFINITI New Vehicle Limited Warranty will extend through, and will not end before, the end of that original New Vehicle Limited warranty.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED:

• Damage or failure to the vehicle or parts resulting from racing and competitive driving.
• Damage or failures of parts resulting from misuse, accident, theft, fire, driving through water resulting in engine water ingestion, chemical fallout, tree sap, salt, sand, hail, flood or other environmental conditions.
• Modification or improper repair of the part or of the vehicle in which the part is installed.
• Use of parts not equivalent in quality or design to parts supplied by INFINITI.
• Lack of performance of required maintenance services as outlined in your INFINITI Owner’s Manual.
• Use of improper or dirty fuel, fluids or lubricants.
• Normal wear and tear, including dings, dents, chips or scratches.
• Salvage Title – This warranty does not cover damage, failures or corrosion to any Motorsports part installed in the vehicle, if the vehicle is issued a “salvage” or similar title including, but not limited to junk, scrap, rebuilt, or flood titles, under any state’s law. (This exclusion does not extend to new Genuine INFINITI replacement parts, Motorsports parts, or Genuine INFINITI accessories installed in an INFINITI vehicle after the issuance of a “salvage” or similar title.)

WHAT YOU MUST DO:

In order to obtain warranty service you must deliver the warranted part, or the vehicle on which the part or accessory is installed, to an authorized INFINITI Retailer in the United States or Canada at your expense with proof of purchase (parts invoice or service repair order from an authorized INFINITI Retailer). You must also pay for labor charges to remove and replace the part or accessory if it was not originally installed on your vehicle by an authorized INFINITI Retailer.

LIMITATION OF WARRANTIES AND OTHER WARRANTY TERMS AND STATE LAW RIGHTS:

EXTRA EXPENSES - LIMITATIONS OF DAMAGES
This limited warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages such as loss of the use of the vehicle, inconvenience or commercial loss.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. INFINITI does not authorize any person to create for it any other warranty, obligation or liability in connection with this vehicle.

WHAT INFINITI WILL DO:

If the part to be repaired was originally installed by an authorized INFINITI Retailer, it will be removed and reinstalled after repair at no charge for parts and labor. If the part or accessory was not installed by an authorized INFINITI Retailer, the part or accessory will be repaired or exchanged only. Any needed parts replacement will be made using INFINITI Motorsports parts. INFINITI reserves the right to make changes at any time, without notice, to Motorsports parts in their specifications, colors, and materials, including those used in connection with limited warranty repairs. For this reason, when approved by INFINITI and at INFINITI’s discretion, functionally equivalent replacement parts may be used that do not exactly match the original production part.

Effective Date: Limited warranty effective for Motorsports parts purchased on or after November 1, 2022.

INFINITI's limited warranty also does not cover damages or failures to the vehicle caused by improper installation, improper alterations, or use of non-INFINITI-affiliated parts/accessories. 2. Cargo and load capacity limited by weight and distribution. Always secure cargo.
3. Towing varies by configuration. See INFINITI Towing Guide and Owner’s Manual for additional information. Always secure cargo.
4. All retail prices listed herein are suggested prices. All Retailers are free to sell at whatever price, mark-up, or margin of profit they may choose. Prices do not include installations. Pictures are for informational purposes only. Prices subject to change.
5. Cargo shown for display purposes only. Cargo and load capacity limited by weight and distribution. Always secure cargo. Heavy loading of the vehicle with cargo, especially on the roof, will affect the handling and stability of the vehicle.
6. Compatible smartphone required. Virtual Key to be used only in accordance with laws or rules in effect in your vehicle’s location. Actual maximum distance for operation will vary depending on obstructions between compatible device and vehicle.
7. Dual Camera Drive Recorder to be used only in accordance with any laws or rules in effect in your vehicle’s location that may apply to audio or video recordings of drivers and passengers.
8. Driving is serious business and requires your full attention. If you have to use the connected device while driving, exercise extreme caution at all times so full attention may be given to vehicle operation.
9. Remote Engine Start to be used only in accordance with any laws or rules in effect in your vehicle’s location.

All New and Genuine Remanufactured engines and transmissions carry a limited 3 years, unlimited miles warranty – ask your Retailer for details.
