In subpar weather conditions, your INFINITI's fog lights help you drive by lighting the way in front of you. When one or both of them becomes dim or dysfunctional, it can negatively impact your capacity to see the road ahead.

In contrast to headlights, fog lights are specially engineered to “cut through” rather than bounce off of visibility-compromising weather like smog, rain, and snow. Due to their unique design, INFINITI fog lights project at a wider but shorter range than headlights, which is why they should be used in tandem with headlights rather than in place of them.

Your INFINITI's Fog Light (Right) can act up due to underlying problems in the Electrical System — which can make the lights flicker, dim, or not start at all. On the other hand, your Fog Light (Right)'s bulb can burn up with age or break upon impact or electric shorts.

Typically, fog lights can last 30,000 or more hours before they need to be replaced.

Performing a Fog Light (Right) replacement at home is on the easier side of DIY car repair. Typically, it requires popping the hood up and unplugging the fog lights from the rest of the electrical system. Once undone, loosen and remove your Fog Light (Right) by turning it counterclockwise. After that, screw the replacement Fog Light (Right) right back in its place, and replace the electrical plugs back in their original spots. Tighten the new Fog Light (Right) back into the fog light assembly.

While it seems straightforward, don't forget to check your INFINITI's manual, shut the engine off completely, and let the motor cool down before doing anything under-the-hood. Upgrading your INFINITI Fog Light (Right) will support your visibility on the road, but that doesn't mean you should be careless under-the-hood!
