The Transfer Case Output Shaft Seal is found on the transfer case of your INFINITI QX60 2013-2018 or INFINITI JX35 2013-2015. The transfer case's job is to send power to the rear wheels on a four-wheel-drive vehicle by utilizing chain drives and gear reductions.
The transfer case output shaft connects the transfer case to the axle by the transmission's input shaft and utilizes the Transfer Case Output Shaft Seal to make sure that the parts maintain a tight connection. Without a working Transfer Case Output Shaft Seal, transmission fluid would leak from the rear and front output shaft.
