Your PCV Valve, or Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve, controls gas emissions expelled from the crankcase in your INFINITI. The PCV Valve attaches to crankcase, which houses motor oil. When fuel is burned within the engine, the motor oil in the crankcase develops gasses that can be damaging to your INFINITI and the atmosphere.
