Your vehicle's combustion system depends on numerous sensors and gauges to maintain an adequate environment for performance. One of these mechanisms is the O2 or Oxygen Sensor. At their inception, they were introduced to help control and curb emissions, and they can be found in the large majority of cars on the road today. Depending on your INFINITI model and year, your combustion engine may rely on one or more of these.

The Oxygen Sensors help gauge the air-to-fuel ratio in your engine, working with the vehicle's computer to moderate the ratio depending on whether your engine is burning rich (too little oxygen) or too much oxygen (burning lean).
